CyberGen, an innovative IT company at the forefront of cutting-edge technology solutions, is seeking a seeking an experienced Veritas Enterprise Vault (EV) Specialist to support an urgent recovery and rebuild project for the Port of Seattle. This position requires immediate availability and strong expertise in EV and Discovery Accelerator (DA) to restore and rebuild the customer’s environment following a major system loss. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying EV and DA from scratch, restoring databases and vault partitions, and performing index rebuilds to ensure a fully functional environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven expertise in Veritas Enterprise Vault (EV) and Discovery Accelerator (DA).
• Hands-on experience in setting up and configuring virtual servers.
• Strong knowledge of database restoration and vault partition management.
• Demonstrated ability to perform index rebuilds and manage EV environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.

  Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

• Set up new virtual servers for Veritas Enterprise Vault (EV) and Discovery Accelerator (DA).
• Install EV and DA from scratch on newly provisioned servers.
• Restore existing databases and mount available vault partitions.
• Perform index rebuilds and provide remote EV Index Rebuild services.
• Collaborate closely with the customer’s IT team to ensure seamless deployment and restoration.
• Document deployment steps and provide knowledge transfer/training to the customer’s staff.
