JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Versa SD-WAN System Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of SD-WAN solutions for a major telecom client. This role requires deep expertise in Versa Networks’ SD-WAN platform, including Concerto Orchestration, and the ability to troubleshoot complex networking and system-level issues. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with IP networking, DevOps scripting, and hybrid cloud environments.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked with or at Verizon Wireless, especially in Versa SD-WAN environments.Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, deploy, and optimize Versa SD-WAN solutions across enterprise environments.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering and operations teams.
• Perform complex issue resolution for L3 support and customer-reported problems.
• Simulate and troubleshoot customer issues in lab environments and work closely with OEMs to replicate problems and validate fixes.
• Lead hands-on testing for new deployments, features, and proofs-of-concept.
• Develop SD-WAN design best practices, reference architectures, and operational playbooks.
• Automate and streamline network configurations via Bash/Python scripting.
• Validate hotfixes and firmware, and provide recommendations to operations and support teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

Required Technical Skills: Versa SD-WAN Expertise

• Strong working knowledge of Versa platform architecture, components, and functionality.
• Experience with Versa Concerto Orchestration, including:
• Tenant provisioning, subprofiles, master policies.
• Lifecycle stages for deployment and monitoring.
• Integration and automation using Concerto API.
• Hands-on experience with Versa Director and Versa Analytics for performance management and troubleshooting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience working with or supporting Verizon Wireless.
• Versa SD-WAN certifications or training.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or telecom-grade SD-WAN rollouts.
