Description GasTech Engineering LLC is seeking a highly skilled Fitter Welder with extensive experience in pressure vessel fabrication for gas processing applications. This role requires precision, safety, and craftsmanship in structural and vessel welding. Requirements Minimum10 years of welding experience in heavy fabrication Large Scale or Pressure Vessel work Proficient in GMAW (MIG) and FCAW (Flux Core) processes You must be able to Fit your own work Fitting is a must Strong understanding of ASME welding codes and procedures Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols Experience with full penetration welds and single-side welding techniques Welding Test Details Applicants must successfully complete a Plate Test for Structural and Vessel Welding: 3G Position on ¾” plate with a 30º bevel Open root downhill pass using GMAW (MIG) Uphill fill and cap using FCAW (Flux Core) Full penetration weld from one side only (no backside weld) Weld will be inspected: Visually per QW-462.2 by a Certified Welding Inspector In accordance with ASME Section XI QW-302.4 Subject to X-ray, cut, and bend testing
