Our new, upgraded clinic will be opening early October, next to the Petbarn store at Westcourt and we are looking for Vet Nurses to join the team on a full-time or part-time basis! In addition, you will have the opportunity to examine and treat various native wildlife that is brought into clinic (wallabies, curlews, frogs, snakes, lizards, so many different birds!). About Your New Job: Part- time or full-time hours available Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care Performing minor procedures when required Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment Providing great customer service in person and over the phone, including booking appointments and giving advice What You’ll Bring: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 2+ years clinical nursing experience An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures Strong communication skills A calm and friendly presence with a team player attitude Experience with RXworks advantageous Most importantly, we are seeking a motivated nurse who is interested in furthering their knowledge both as an individual and as part of a team. Responsibilities
