Company Description Are you a compassionate and skilled Vet Nurse seeking a part-time position? Look no further than Greencross Ferntree Gully! We are looking for someone who is committed and eager to develop their knowledge and skills in a supportive and friendly environment. We are a close-knit, community-focused practice with some very lovely and loyal clients. We love to go the extra mile to ensure that all our pet parents and their wonderful animals get the best possible experience when they visit our clinic. Most conveniently, we are a co-location clinic, on-site with Petbarn retail store - we love having these guys next door so that our clients can find all of their pet care needs under the one roof. What you’ll be doing each day: Part-time role, Mondays and Fridays, with the opportunity for more hours Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone What you’ll bring: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 1 - 2+ years of experience An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures A calm and friendly presence Strong communication and customer service skills Experience with Rx Works (preferred but not essential) If this sounds like you, Apply Now.
