Our clinic is generous in space, purpose built and fully equipped with seven consult rooms, an ultrasound room, a designated dental area, an extra-large prep area with three tables and a large surgery room. We also have a fully functioning lab, with an x-ray machine as well as Pulse Oximeter, Multi Parameter monitor and Isoflurane Anaesthetics to assist you with ensuring a memorable and positive clinical experience for every pet and owner we see! This is a great opportunity for a nurse looking to utilise their skills and be a respected part of the team. About your new role: Permanent Part-time role - 19 hours a week Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care Performing minor procedures when required Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment Reception duties when required About your skills and your experience: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with min. 2+ years of experience Excellent animal handling skills and extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures A calm, friendly and positive presence A ‘can do’, hands-on team player attitude Great communication and customer service skills Availability for some Saturday shifts Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential Join the Kessels Road team - Apply Now!
