Description
Company Description Are you an experienced Vet Nurse who loves variety and thrives in a supportive, dynamic environment? We’re looking for a Part-Time Vet Nurse to join our caring team at Greencross Paradise. This role combines hands-on nursing with client-facing reception duties, perfect for someone who enjoys both clinical work and building strong client relationships. Why You’ll Love Paradise For over 40 years, we’ve been a trusted name in Adelaide’s pet care community. Our modern, purpose-built clinic is designed for comfort and high-quality medicine, featuring separate dog and cat consult rooms, surgery suites, isolated wards, dental radiology, abdominal ultrasound, and even Puppy Pre-School. We’re also Stress-Free Pets Accredited, ensuring a calm experience for pets and their owners. Located in Adelaide’s leafy northeast, Paradise offers the best of both worlds, suburban tranquility with city convenience. Enjoy nearby cafés, parks, and the O-Bahn Paradise Interchange for easy commuting, plus the foothills for weekend adventures. What You’ll Do Deliver exceptional nursing care across surgical, medical, and consult settings. Assist with emergency and critical care, pathology, and minor procedures. Maintain top-tier hygiene standards in surgical areas and equipment. Handle reception duties, be the welcoming face for clients, manage appointments, accounts, and patient admissions/discharges. What You Bring Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 3+ years’ experience. Calm, friendly attitude and excellent animal handling skills. Strong knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures. Great organisational, communication, and customer service skills. Flexible and adaptable within a team environment. RX Works experience is a bonus (but not essential). What We Offer A supportive, collaborative team that values your wellbeing. Flexible working arrangements, no after-hours and rotating weekends for work-life balance. Ongoing education, mentorship, and career development opportunities. Access to the latest veterinary technology and a network of like-minded professionals. Ready to make a difference in a clinic that feels like family? Apply today and join us on this rewarding journey! For a confidential discussion, please contact Victoria Mckeown on 0404 633 457 or [email protected]
