Description
Company Description Seaton Vet Centre are looking for a professional, passionate and experienced Cert 4 qualified Vet Nurse to join our team. Due to us having a few trainees and interns on the team already, we are looking for a Full-time Experienced Vet Nurse who can come in and hit the ground running! You can look forward to: A supportive, welcoming team environment Vets and nurses working synergistically We actively acknowledge, avoid and address burn-out and take the mental health of our staff incredibly seriously No on-call, overnight or public holiday work Flexibility and a work-life balance Management who actually care about the people, not the sales (NO up-selling or sales KPI’s to worry about!) We are extraordinarily proud of our work culture. The first thing that people hear when stepping into the practice is usually laughter! We pride ourselves on providing the highest standards of nursing care, to both the patient and the client. If you are motivated, caring, energetic and ready to learn new skills, there is an opportunity for you to join our fantastic team of bubbly personalities! Nursing duties involve all aspects of the veterinary practice, including reception, surgical nursing, hospitalization, radiography, ultrasonography, pathology and Puppy School if you're interested (no Puppy School duties if you're not interested). We are a fast-paced, all-go clinic and see a mix of different companion animals, including exotic and pocket pets, so it is a great opportunity for you to expand your nursing skills and learning. We have a moderate to high surgery load and high standards, so experience in monitoring anaesthetics for high-risk patients, confidence with surgical nursing, ability to multi-task and strong passion for patient care is a must. We use RxWorks (practice management software), SmartFlow (inpatient software) and Deputy (rostering software). Experience with using any of these is favourable, though not a prerequisite. Our Opening Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am to 7pm Saturday: 8am to 2pm Sunday/Public Holidays: CLOSED The roster is shared over a six-day period so you will need to be flexible for weekends and able to work both independently, and as part of a team. If this role sounds like the right fit for you, and you would like to become part of the Seaton team, please apply today! For a confidential discussion, please contact Victoria Mckeown on 0404 633 457 or [email protected]
