Animal Hospital of Dauphin County Veterinary Technician 📍 Location: Harrisburg, PA 🕐 Schedule: Full-Time | Mon-Fri 4x10 or 5x8 - 1 Saturday a month With a strong focus on Fear Free medicine, collaborative teamwork, and flexible scheduling, we’re committed to creating a positive experience for pets, clients, and staff alike. What You’ll Do: * Assist in patient care, surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostics * Support our DVMs during appointments, exams, treatments, and procedures * Perform hands-on tasks including drawing blood, catheter placement, and injections, take radiographs and performs EKGs. * Communicate clearly with clients on treatment plans, patient updates, and discharge instructions * Collaborate with all team members to promote hospital efficiency and workflow * Embrace mentorship, growth, and ongoing skill development in a structured, supportive environment What Were Looking For: * An experienced Veterinary Technician with 1-2 years in practice. (Licensed Veterinary Technicians preferred) * You have confidence in blood draws, IV placement, anesthesia monitoring and surgical support. * A dependable and adaptable team player who brings energy and positivity to work. * A strong communicator who collaborates well with your team and clients. * A team-first, solutions-focused, reliable colleague who wants to help build a great culture. Responsibilities
