  Animal Hospital of Dauphin County Veterinary Technician  📍 Location: Harrisburg, PA 🕐 Schedule: Full-Time | Mon-Fri 4x10 or 5x8 - 1 Saturday a month With a strong focus on Fear Free medicine, collaborative teamwork, and flexible scheduling, we’re committed to creating a positive experience for pets, clients, and staff alike. What You’ll Do: * Assist in patient care, surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostics * Support our DVMs during appointments, exams, treatments, and procedures * Perform hands-on tasks including drawing blood, catheter placement, and injections, take radiographs and performs EKGs. * Communicate clearly with clients on treatment plans, patient updates, and discharge instructions * Collaborate with all team members to promote hospital efficiency and workflow * Embrace mentorship, growth, and ongoing skill development in a structured, supportive environment What Were Looking For: * An experienced Veterinary Technician with 1-2 years in practice. Responsibilities
The Veterinary Technician will assist with patient care, surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and various diagnostic tasks. They will also support DVMs during appointments and communicate treatment plans to clients.
