Description
We’re growing. Like… actually growing (hello expansion 👀), and we’re looking to add full-time and part-time Veterinary Technicians to our team. At Sycamore, we take patient care seriously—but we also believe you can do great medicine and enjoy the people you work with. We’re a team that shows up, works hard, supports each other, and yes… laughs a lot along the way. ---------------------------------------- ✨ What You’ll Get: * Flexible scheduling (5, 8, or 12-hour shifts—because life is real) * No holidays (we mean it) * Some evenings + rotating Saturday mornings * Monthly bonus potential * Scrub allowance * CE allowance * Fear Free Certification for qualified team members * A team that actually helps each other (not just says they do) * Full time employees are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401-k matching, generous PTO and Paid Holidays ---------------------------------------- 🐶 What We’re Looking For: You don’t need surgery experience—we’ll teach you. But you do need to come in ready to jump in and be part of a team. Requirements: * At least 1 year of veterinary experience * Comfortable with: * Blood draws * Preparing/administering vaccines and injections * In-hospital diagnostics (SNAP tests, ear cytology, radiographs, lab work) * Able to take accurate vitals and document thoroughly in EMR * Confident (and kind) when talking through treatment plans with clients ---------------------------------------- 💛 The Vibe: We expect professionalism and high-quality care—but we get there through support, training, and teamwork, not burnout or blame. No egos. No “that’s not my job.” Just a group of people who care about the work, the patients, and each other. ---------------------------------------- If you’re looking for a hospital where you can grow your skills, feel supported, and actually like coming to work, this might be your place. 📩 Apply—we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities
Veterinary Technicians will be responsible for providing serious patient care, including performing blood draws, administering vaccines, conducting in-hospital diagnostics, and accurately documenting all findings in the EMR system. They must also confidently and kindly communicate treatment plans to clients.
