Veterans Ford is looking to hire an automotive experienced Quick Lane Manager. The Quick Lane Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Quick Lane department. The Quick Lane Manager will oversee the staff, delegate tasks, provide excellent customer service, and advise and train on any mechanical repairs. As a managing mentor your focus will be on quality multipoint inspections including additional service recommendations of the department. This position is heavily focused on the growth and advancement of our entry level technicians & CSI. Oversee all aspects of the department including monitoring sales, gross profit, and expenses on a daily basis. Work closely with other department managers to handle any customer concerns that need management involvement. Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and our valued customers

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must submit to a background check and drug test
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • 3+ years’ experience in a Quick Lane Shop Manager role or similar
  • Ford experience preferred not required
  • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Must be able to work in outside elements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and explain complex information
  • Proven ability to manage personnel and delegate tasks
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to mold young technicians into tomorrow’s master technicians

Responsibilities
  • Implement procedures and monitor department performance daily
  • Perform repairs on vehicles as necessary
  • Work with managers to coordinate the daily operations of the Quick Lane shop
  • Manage repair orders of the department with a heavy focus on CSI
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
  • Provide team members with training and support
  • Implement technician training paths and monitor progress
  • Ensure all staff comply with safety regulations
