To support our team in Leverkusen, we’re currently looking for a Part-Time

• Responsible for the health and well-being of our animals (mice), ensuring the highest standards of veterinary care.
• Advise management and animal facility teams on welfare matters, including surgical procedures, anesthesia, analgesia, and biosecurity.
• Manage the veterinary pharmacy and facilitate internal training for technical staff.
• Act as a key contact for regulatory authorities and oversee compliance with all applicable animal welfare legislation.
• Take a lead role in accreditation needs with preparing AAALAC program description and site visits, including documentation, facility readiness, and team awareness.
• Lead the Animal Welfare Body (AWB) meetings.
• Support scientists in preparing animal protocol applications for regulatory approval.
• After onboarding and obtaining the necessary qualifications, assume the role of Animal Welfare Officer (AWO)
