We, the Westerholt veterinary practice, located in beautiful East Frisia on the North Sea coast, are looking for new members to join our team. Mixed practice (90% small animals, 5% cattle, 5% horses)

We offer predictable working hours in a friendly team. We are also very open to newcomers to the profession. Training is no problem. However, ideally, candidates should be willing to treat not only small animals, but also cattle and horses.

Our practice is modernly equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, ultrasound, laser, electrosurgery, Terafloat for horses, and an abomasal endoscope. We offer above-average pay including a Christmas bonus.

Your tasks:

Consultation & diagnostics, veterinary care: Independently conducting examinations, making diagnoses, and establishing treatment plans. Vaccinations, consultation (excluding parasite prophylaxis), and education.

Therapy & Surgery: Wound care, performance of operations (e.g. soft tissue surgery, castrations, dental restorations)

Customer service: Empathetic and expert advice to pet owners on health issues, husbandry and nutrition.

Administration: Documentation of treatment histories, referrals, patient data

Your profile:

Qualification: Completed studies in veterinary medicine and valid German license to practice.

Soft skills: Empathy in dealing with animals and owners, teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and a calm, professional demeanor in emergency situations.

Languages: Good German skills, both spoken and written (for legally compliant documentation)
