Anderson Vet Clinic is seeking an energetic and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about animal care and excited to be part of a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on role where you’ll support our veterinarians and technicians in delivering high-quality care to our patients. You’ll assist with a variety of clinical and animal care tasks and play a vital role in maintaining an efficient and compassionate environment for both clients and pets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and procedures
• Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
• Clean and disinfect exam rooms, treatment areas, surgical suites, and kennels throughout the day
• Prepare and maintain surgical and treatment areas, including instrument sterilization
• Monitor and care for hospitalized or recovering patients
• Stock and organize supplies
• Communicate clearly and kindly with pet owners and team members
• Provide support at the front desk as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone who enjoys working hands-on with animals in a fast-paced environment
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good communication and multitasking skills
• Able to recognize needs and jump in where needed
• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or formal veterinary assistant schooling is preferred
