Crescent Beach Veterinary Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our team as a full-time/part-time veterinary assistant at our fully equipped, state-of-the-art practice, located on Crescent Road.

We are currently hiring for two part-time positions, with the potential to move to full-time. As a veterinary assistant at our practice, you must be extremely comfortable communicating with clients in person and on the phone. Experience with handling animals and clients is A MUST. Experience with Neo software a plus, and general computer skills are necessary.
You will assist the veterinarian with patient care and treatment, monitor hospitalized pets, maintain inventory, prepare prescriptions, perform routine in-house laboratory work, educate clients regarding veterinary care and procedures, and assist with surgical procedures.
The position we are hiring for is front reception, with room to learn and work in the back as well.
In this role you will also be:
Admitting and discharging patients
In-taking appointments
Communicating with clients over the phone, email or in person
Maintaining our facility inviting, clean, tidy and odour free
Assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians during exams,
Feeding and watering patients, offering them clean housing and bedding as needed, and above all, giving them countless kisses and cuddles
Experience in the Veterinary industry is an asset, on job training will be provided.
