Veterinary Technician Mellina Animal Hospital Fort Worth, Texas Part-time Melinna Animal Hospital is actively looking to add a positive-thinking individual to join our busy 3 Doctor practice. This experienced veterinary technician must be able to multi-task and be a team player. Previous veterinary experience is required. The ideal candidate will: actively support veterinarians and other staff in daily patient and client care. be an active listener, paying close attention to details. observe the behavior and conditions of animals. be able to prep and monitor animals for surgical procedures. phlebotomy actively demonstrate dependability and importance of work to clients, supervisors, and other employees. participate in cross-training and willing to work in all areas of the hospital. easily adapt to situations that arise such as emergencies, taking initiative, dealing with high volume on the phone as well as in person.
