JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at a busy veterinary clinic. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of animal anatomy, husbandry, and basic veterinary procedures such as aseptic techniques is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with clients and their pets.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when necessary.
  • Experience with animal catheterization is beneficial but not required.
  • A genuine love for animals and commitment to providing high-quality care.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $18.00 - $21.50 per hour

  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and confidential.
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
  • Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians during examinations as needed, including handling animals safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the reception area and waiting room.
  • Handle any client concerns or complaints professionally, striving for resolution.
