Poplar View Pet Hospital is a new locally owned and operated full service small animal veterinary clinic in Collierville, TN. We are looking for motivated individuals to grow our customer service focused business model. The ideal candidate possess a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. Flexible / Individualized schedule considered on a case by case basis. Job description The typical work day will alternate between 7:00am -5:30pm and 8:00am-5:30pm. Daily responsibilities will entail various tasks associated with the beginning to end of the vet visit experience. On the job training and room to grow in the areas of particular interest to the individual will be provided. Tasks include but are not limited to. Answering phone calls Scheduling appointments Managing digital medical records Filling medications Recording vital signs on patients Restraining patients Drawing blood Running lab work Taking radiographs Placing IV catheters Administering medications (as directed) Assisting in surgical procedures General animal husbandry Various clerical tasks Other tasks in the day to day operation of a veterinary clinic.
