At James Snow Animal Hospital, Milton, ON we are currently looking for two full time Veterinary Assistants to join our team.
-Ideal candidate will possess excellent client communication skills, a friendly personality, able to multitask and assist with various roles within the practice and needs to be compassionate and comfortable in handling dogs and cats.
- Prior experience in an animal care setting/education in related field and knowledge of AVI mark or similar software is preferred.

-Assisting veterinarians and other staff in various procedures.
-Restraining dogs and cats for examination and treatment.
-Booking appointments, invoicing
-Performing reception duties, answering phone calls and general inquiries regarding
services.
-Admission and discharge of pets from appointments.
-Helping clients with their pet’s visit and care.
-Assisting in taking radiographs.
-Performing minor procedures such as ear cleaning and nail trimming etc.
-Maintain cleanliness of work place.
