We are looking for a friendly, dedicated, and enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our busy and growing veterinary practice. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Comfort working with animals of all sizes and temperaments
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with veterinary software a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required

RECEPTION DUTIES:

• Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communications
• Process payments and maintain accurate client records
• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries with care and efficiency

ASSISTANT DUTIES:

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient handling, restraint, and care
• Assist veterinarians in exam rooms
• Clean and sanitize exam rooms and equipment
• Monitor and record patient information and vitals
• Prepare medications and assist with laboratory tests (as trained)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the clinic
