The tasks:

• Your responsibilities will include supporting and assisting our animal care team in all tasks that arise in a modern laboratory animal facility.
• Your main responsibilities will include the species-appropriate husbandry and care of various laboratory animal species (mouse, rat, rabbit, pig and sheep) and the breeding of genetically modified rodents under SPF conditions.
• Your tasks also include the proper transport of animals and cage cleaning.

We expect completed vocational training in one of the following professional fields:

• Veterinary Assistant (m/f/d)
• Animal caretaker (m/f/d)
• Careers in medical-technical fields
• Food processing professions
• Positions requiring proven long-term professional experience in professions with special hygiene requirements

They are characterized in particular by:

• Willingness to work weekends and holidays
• Above-average commitment and motivation, independence, reliability and flexibility, as well as communication skills and strong teamwork abilities.

Additionally, proof of German language skills at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference is required.
