SUMMARY

We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant / Tech to join our team at Avon Animal Hospital in the heart of our community. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our veterinary staff and ensuring the highest standard of care for our animal patients.

Experience:

• veterinary: 1 year (required

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures
• Provide compassionate care to animals in the clinic
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Handle and restrain animals safely
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by veterinarians
• Assist with laboratory tests and procedures
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care
• Support the veterinary team in daily operations.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience minimum of one year or any course in veterinary as a Veterinary Assistant or Tech or in a similar role is required
• Strong knowledge of animal husbandry and veterinary terminology
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
• Excellent communication skills with pet owners and team members
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures is a plus
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician is an advantage but not required.
