Pay – Competitive hourly rates Benefits package you deserve – Medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits Paid time off – Vacation time and paid holidays to catch your breath and recharge Personal Animal Care – Employee pet care discount Hands on training and mentorship – supporting your career growth and goals with continuing education and training across a variety of roles in the hospital Team Oriented – We are positive, collaborative, tight knit team Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and vet techs during examinations, treatments, and surgeries Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas by cleaning and sterilizing equipment and surfaces Perform basic laboratory tests, such as collecting blood, urine, and stool samples Support dental and surgical procedures (training provided) Administer medications and vaccinations under the supervision of a veterinarian Feed, bathe, and exercise animals as needed Maintain accurate medical records Communicate with pet owners about their pets’ care, treatment plans, and follow-up visits Clean and maintain the clinic, including stocking supplies and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment Qualifications Preferred: 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar animal‑care role Strong handling skills and comfort working in a clinical environment Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy setting Willingness to learn new skills and participate in continuing education Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weight, and handle animals safely
Responsibilities
