Description
Company Description Full Time | Adelaide Western Suburbs Greencross Vets Seaton is seeking a full‑time Veterinary Associate to join a genuinely people‑first team in Adelaide’s western suburbs. Perfectly positioned between the city and the coast, Seaton offers an easy commute, great local amenities, and a clinic culture where support, communication and balance truly come first. This is a clinic where people enjoy coming to work because they feel valued, trusted, and backed by their team. A Team That Truly Works Together At Greencross Seaton, teamwork isn’t just a buzzword - it’s how care is delivered every day. Complex cases are shared, ideas are openly discussed, and no one is ever left to manage a challenging situation alone. Recent cases have involved multiple vets collaborating closely, nurses providing continuity and emotional support for stressed owners, and reception teams helping clients navigate care options with compassion and clarity. Whether stabilising medically complex patients or supporting owners through difficult moments, the team works seamlessly together. Team members often say the same thing: there’s always someone around to help. Strong, Supportive Leadership Our Veterinary Director leads with a calm, practical and people‑centred approach. Clear expectations, trust, and flexibility are built into how the clinic runs. Work–life balance is actively supported by focusing on outcomes rather than hours, encouraging open conversations about workload, and modelling healthy boundaries - because great medicine depends on wellbeing, not burnout. The leadership philosophy is simple: when people feel supported and respected, they do their best work for patients, clients and each other. A Standout Cat‑Friendly Experience Seaton is particularly proud of its feline‑focused design, including: Two dedicated cat‑only consult rooms A separate cat‑only entrance and waiting area This low‑stress setup allows cats to have the calmest experience possible and supports vets with an interest in feline medicine. The clinic also has vets with special interests in feline medicine and exotics, and knowledge‑sharing is actively encouraged. About the Role This is a full‑time general practice role with a varied and interesting caseload. You’ll be supported to work cases up properly, practise evidence‑based medicine, and grow your skills in a safe, collaborative environment. We’re looking for a veterinarian who: Enjoys working as part of a team Is willing to have a go and grow with support Communicates clearly and compassionately with clients Values a positive, respectful workplace culture What We Offer As part of Greencross, you’ll enjoy: Competitive salary and full‑time stability Flexible rostering with sustainable workloads Unlimited internal CE and structured development pathways One week paid study leave (convertible to annual leave) Paid AVA or Veterinary Board registration VIN and Plumbs access Heidi Health AI to streamline clinical notes Mental health and wellbeing support, including 24/7 counselling Staff discounts across Greencross GP and specialty clinics, Petbarn and partner retailers Relocation and visa sponsorship for eligible candidates Location & Lifestyle Seaton’s location offers the best of both worlds - easy access to Adelaide CBD and western beaches without the stress of inner‑city congestion. Cafés, shops and everyday conveniences are close by, making workdays smoother and downtime more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a full‑time role where team culture, leadership support, and balance are more than just words, we’d love to hear from you.
