Company Description Veterinary Associate (Senior) – Greencross Williamstown Full-time | Leadership Pathway Opportunity Greencross Williamstown is seeking an experienced Veterinary Associate who is ready to take the next step in their career - someone with strong clinical capability and emerging leadership potential, looking to grow within a supportive, highly experienced team. This is an ideal opportunity for a veterinarian with 5+ years’ experience who enjoys mentoring, collaboration, and influencing clinical standards, while being supported by an established Veterinary Director and leadership team. Why Greencross Williamstown? You’ll be joining a clinic with depth, stability, and genuine clinical leadership. Our Veterinary Director brings experience across emergency, specialty, and general practice, and is currently undertaking advanced training in small animal medicine. They actively mentor senior associates and support the development of individual special interests. As a multi-vet clinic, you’ll work alongside another vet each day, allowing for real-time collaboration, case discussion, and shared decision-making. This is backed by a skilled, long‑standing nursing team who are integral to keeping the day running smoothly. Regular team meetings and case discussions are part of our culture, ensuring everyone feels supported, heard, and continuously developing. We’re also located close to Greencross Veterinary Hospital (GVH), with access to specialists for advice and referral on complex cases. The Clinic & Location Our clinic has been recently renovated and is spread across two spacious levels. In addition to a full suite of modern equipment, the team enjoys a dedicated staff room, ample parking, and excellent public transport access with Williamstown train station nearby. The clinic is just two minutes from Williamstown Esplanade and the beach, making lunch breaks and post-work walks genuinely enjoyable. About the Role This role suits a confident, all‑rounder GP veterinarian who enjoys responsibility and is looking to grow into a senior clinical or leadership position over time. You’ll be empowered to practise high-quality, evidence-based medicine with autonomy, while contributing positively to team culture, mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate, and helping drive clinical standards.
