We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) to assist the Vets and Nurses to deliver the highest standards of patient care. The candidate must have previous experience in a veterinary practice and ideally hold a VCA qualification.
Please note, we are not currently able to offer any student nurse placements.
Working hours are 5 days per week, 8 hour shifts (between 08:00am and 19:30pm).
No bank holidays, on call or OOH.
Salary dependent on experience.
About us:
We are a busy, independent, small animal first opinion practice based in Grays, Essex. Our fantastic team consists of 5 full time Veterinary Surgeons, 2 Part time Veterinary surgeon, 6 full time and 3 part time Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 student nurse, 3 VCA’s and a wonderful reception team that run the show! We are RCVS Accredited and also hold a ISFM Silver award for Cat friendly Clinic. We are fully equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental equipment, in-house laboratory, surgical theatre and a comfortable staff room. We also have a separate cat & small animal ward and theatre.
