As a Client Care Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our clients and patients receive exceptional, five-star service. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires you to stay calm under pressure while delivering high standards of care. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience in a reception or customer service role.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and in person.
  • Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide seamless customer service by liaising with clients and the clinical team.
  • Perform various administrative duties to support the clinical team and overall business operations.
  • Promote our Pet Healthcare Plan with enthusiasm.
  • Greet clients warmly and professionally.
  • Manage appointments and handle diary scheduling.
  • Respond to telephone and email enquiries efficiently.
  • Process payments for services and products.
  • Manage cash handling, stock levels, and client accounts.
  • Assist with opening and closing the practice.
  • Provide support to vets when staffing is limited.

ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS MAY INCLUDE:

  • Assisting with Pet Travel Scheme paperwork and AHCs.
  • Making post-operative calls and sending pre-op texts.
  • Maintaining and organizing consultation rooms and reception.
  • Uploading and printing lab results.
  • Scanning paperwork and sending meds collection texts.
  • Assisting with stock takes every three months.
  • Helping restrain pets to assist vets when needed.
