JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our clients while ensuring the well-being of their pets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care and veterinary practices, enabling them to assist customers effectively and empathetically.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in veterinary settings or animal care environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Avimark is an asset.
  • Experience with handling of dogs and cats.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and the ability to create and manage basic content.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: From $18.00 per hour
    Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

  • Provide outstanding customer service to pet owners by addressing inquiries and concerns regarding their pets’ health and care.
  • Utilize veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with clients about their pets’ conditions and treatments.
  • Handle animals safely and humanely, demonstrating proper animal restraint techniques during interactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to aseptic techniques when necessary.
  • Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
  • Document client interactions accurately in the system for future reference.
  • Answer incoming phone calls from clients, providing accurate information and assistance as needed.
  • Preform follow up and appointment confirmation phone calls.
  • Monitor clinic emails and respond to emails as required.
  • Manage and respond to Google reviews, maintaining a respectful and professional tone at all times.
  • Assist with social media accounts (ie. facebook, Instagram). Create and schedule engaging social media content.
