Job Description Overview: Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a collaborative and engaging educator to join our dynamic faculty team as a Clinical Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor of Communications. This role is central to preparing future veterinarians for real-world practice by teaching communication techniques and supporting the development of professional skills. The successful candidate will contribute to our Essential Veterinary Skills (EVS) and Veterinary Professional Foundations courses, which encompass a broad range of competencies including clinical procedures, client communication, and animal handling. Key Responsibilities: Teaching Deliver instruction in team-based courses such as EVS and Veterinary Professional Foundations. Facilitate lectures, small group sessions, and interactive communication workshops. Develop, assess, and refine communication learning objectives and student performance metrics. Research & Scholarly Activity Contribute to curriculum development and assessment strategies focused on communication training. Engage in scholarly research aligned with personal expertise and institutional goals. Service Participate actively in departmental and institutional committees. Support additional initiatives and responsibilities as assigned by the Department Head. Qualifications Master’s degree or higher DVM or equivalent is Preferred Must be willing to reside on the Caribbean island of St Kitts Experience working in the medical/veterinary industry Experience or training in educational methods, couching, curriculum development, or communication instruction. Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented academic environment.
