We're currently seeking a Surgical Coordinator to join our busy surgery department. In this key role, you'll serve as a vital liaison between our surgical team, client representatives, and pet owners, ensuring seamless coordination and communication throughout the surgical process. Anticipated Schedule This is a full-time position Some holidays are required Tuesday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (preferred) Compensation Starting at $22-29/hr (dependent upon experience) Requirements What You’ll Do: As a Surgical Coordinator, you’ll be an essential part of the surgical team, supporting our surgeons, technicians, and client service staff in a variety of critical tasks. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating surgical consults and procedures Communicating with clients about treatment plans, estimates, and post-operative care Ensuring records and follow-ups are accurate and up to date Assisting in patient discharge, preparing medications and paperwork Serving as a point of contact for surgical scheduling and case flow Providing clear, compassionate communication to pet owners Who We’re Looking For: Veterinary experience is required, with a preference for surgical or specialty experience Technician or assistant background preferred, but not required Strong organizational and multitasking skills Exceptional communication and client service skills Ability to work collaboratively and compassionately with both teams and clients Ready to Make an Impact?
