Description Description Pinnacle is looking for a Part-time Diagnostic Imagining Assistant. Pinnacle Veterinary Specialists is seeking a part-time Diagnostic Imaging Veterinary assistant who is eager to learn and who will utilize their current experience to help enhance our patient care. Our brand-new facility opened in August 2021 and houses emergency/critical care, internal medicine, neurology, surgery, radiology and cardiology. We have digital radiography, full in house Idexx lab systems, Siemens blood gas analyzer, a GE 16 Slice CT scanner and a mobile MRI unit . PVS is located at 600 Evergreen Drive in Glen Mills, PA which is a southern suburb of Philadelphia. We are located across from the Costco in Glen Mills and near the Brinton Lake Shopping complex. Job Responsibilities include: 1) Restraining Patients for Ultrasounds 2) Client Communication 3) Obtaining radiographs 4) Comfortable with digital tools. 5) Cleaning and maintaining radiology equipment Hours - 9a-5pm. Days of the Week : Tuesdays and Thursdays. This part-time position would start at the end of August and last for three months. If interested email acarr@pinnacle.vet Requirements Previous experience in pet care or veterinary settings is preferred. Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, work on the floor as well as ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on own and able to support up to 80 lbs. with assistance.
Responsibilities
The assistant is responsible for restraining patients for ultrasounds, obtaining radiographs, and communicating with clients. Additionally, they must maintain and clean radiology equipment and utilize digital tools.
