JOB DESCRIPTION

As an outdoor product marketing specialist, you’ll need to:
1. Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
2. Visit and make appointments with lab managers, doctors and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments.
2. Build and maintain positive working relationships with medical staff and support administrative staff
3. Keep detailed records of all contacts
4. Win new customers, as well as develop long-term relationships with existing ones
5. Meet and, if possible, exceed sales targets, regularly monitoring your business plans to make sure you achieve this
6. Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables and discuss future targets with the sales manager
7. Analyses sales data to improve results and make sure resources are effectively allocated
8. Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector.
9. Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer’s specific needs
10. Work closely with marketing department to help build the brand

QUALIFICATIONS

Microbiology
Medical Biochemistry
Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)
Veterinary Science
Any life sciences specialist except pharmacist
The candidate should have experience in Veterinary products as well as Outdoor marketing of Medical and Laboratory Products.
