IDEXX is seeking an experienced Laboratory Scientist to join our Core Laboratory Team at our Eight Mile Plains facility. This position is full-time for up to 12 months, with shifts scheduled between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Saturday. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a medical laboratory scientist who wants to apply advanced scientific expertise within a highly specialised diagnostic environment—without the demands of overnight or rotating rosters. Working behind the scenes, you will play a vital part in delivering accurate, high‑quality diagnostic results that support critical animal health outcomes across Australia and beyond. As part of our collaborative laboratory team, you will work alongside skilled scientists, technicians, and pathologists to deliver efficient, reliable, and timely diagnostic testing services for the IDEXX Reference Laboratories. You will utilise your expertise in blood science investigations and apply sound professional judgement in the interpretation, verification, and validation of laboratory analyses and test results. The Successful candidate… You will be an experienced Scientist who is familiar with a diagnostic laboratory workflow. You will have haematology experience (desired) You will have exposure to Chemistry, Patient Sample Management, Urinalysis or Parasitology You will have a strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task You will have experience with complex troubleshooting You will be an overall team player with a positive attitude What can we offer?
