About the Role This is a casual position offering flexibility and variety across all aspects of veterinary nursing. Key responsibilities include: General nursing duties, including pre- and post-operative care, pathology, and emergency/critical care Assisting with surgical procedures and monitoring anaesthesia Performing dental procedures and taking dental and musculoskeletal x-rays Supporting consults and patient care alongside the veterinary team Placing IV catheters and collecting blood samples Maintaining clinic cleanliness, including surgical areas and equipment Managing client enquiries in person, via phone, and email Supporting reception, hospital, and surgical areas as needed About You We are looking for someone who brings: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) Minimum 2+ years’ clinical experience Strong, well-rounded nursing skills across surgery, hospital, and reception Confidence with anaesthetic monitoring, dentals, and pathology processes Excellent communication and customer service skills A calm, friendly, and team-oriented approach The ability to work both independently and within a team Experience with RX Works (desirable, not essential) Living and Working in Palm Beach, Gold Coast Palm Beach offers a relaxed coastal lifestyle combined with a strong sense of community.
