Description

“WHERE EXPERTISE MEETS EMPATHY”

Hate not having your voice heard, being over worked, burnt out, having to work on the weekends, or having to take call???
Fusion Veterinary Orthopedics is an independently and privately owned hospital. Where our distinguished leadership in the delivery of world-class orthopedic surgical care meets a deep, heartfelt kindness and compassion. For the ultimate fusion.
We are looking for a second orthopedic surgeon to join our growing orthopedic, sports medicine, and rehabilitation practice located between beautiful Annapolis, MD and Washington D.C. Our practice thrives on arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, and 3D printing. In an area of over 12 million people, we are the only independently and privately owned brick and mortar orthopedic facility in the entire Maryland, N. Virginia, and D.C area.
Our brand-new facility is 5,300 square feet dedicated to only orthopedics, sports medicine, and rehabilitation. We are equipped with cutting edge technology and equipment with in-house imaging (digital radiography, CT, fluoroscopy), biologics (PRP), and a full rehabilitation department (including laser, shockwave, and underwater treadmill). In the operating room we have the Arthrex 4K Syngery system for arthroscopy, and have various means of fracture fixation (ILNs, bone plates, etc.) along with a building joint replacement program.

At Fusion, we seamlessly meld industry-leading expertise with unwavering empathy, creating a unique environment that yields the best outcomes for veterinarians, pets, and pet parents. From innovative surgical procedures to state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, we leverage the most advanced technologies to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans to address a wide range of orthopedic issues.
However, we don’t stop at delivering only exceptional scientific and technical expertise. We prioritize a caring, compassionate experience for every pet and pet parent. From the moment a pet enters our practice, we dedicate ourselves to providing a supportive, nurturing, loving environment. We realize that every pet is a cherished member of each family. And because we know how important the human-animal bond is in the healing process, we handle that bond with the utmost care.
Our team focuses on warm and caring communication delivered with clarity and empathy. We take the time to answer questions, address concerns, and provide ongoing support throughout the treatment journey, ensuring that pet owners are well-informed about pets’ conditions and treatment options. Fusion views each patient holistically, considering not only their physical well-being but also their emotional and psychological needs, minimizing stress and anxiety for both pets and their parents.
And our caring and empathetic environment does not extend only to our patients. At Fusion, we are dedicated to nurturing and enriching a supportive workplace for current and potential employees. We focus on professional development, continuous learning, mentorship led by experienced orthopedic specialists, empathetic leadership, and a teamwork-focused culture of collaboration and camaraderie.
