We are looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. Requirements Duties (including but not limited to): Answering phones, greeting patients & clients Scheduling appointments Answering email inquiries, returning phone calls Sending email and text reminders Collecting fees for services Discharging surgical patients and reviewing instructions with clients Communicating with referring veterinary hospitals Maintaining paperless medical records Assisting technician team with maintaining a clean clinic Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Must have experience working in the public (ie: restaurant, retail or service business) Experience in a veterinary hospital or doctor’s office is a plus Dependable attendance is required Must be able to lift 40 pounds The ability to walk, bend, squat, stand or reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day At least 1 year of client service experience, preferably in a medical, dental or veterinary clinic A professional appearance and demeanor that represents our first class medicine Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, able to return to tasks rapidly after interruptions Excellent client communication skills: professional yet warm interactions with clients Competence with computers; we are a near-paperless practice Passionate about helping animals and respectful towards clients and teammates Benefits: Paid vacation Paid holidays Competitive wages Medical, dental, vision, dependent care FSA, and short-term disability benefit options Various voluntary benefit offerings, including hospital indemnity, accident, critical illness, etc. 401K with employer match CE opportunities Uniforms Discounts on services and medications for employee pets
