Description

We are looking for a friendly and organised receptionist/admin assistant to join our welcoming, talented team at Bishop’s Stortford Veterinary Hospital. Key Responsibilities:

  • Booking appointments and answering client queries via telephone and email.
  • Processing payments and updating client records on our PMS system.
  • Maintaining and re-stocking our reception area.
  • Supporting the team with general administrative tasks.
  • Performing light cleaning duties, such as hoovering and mopping.
  • Assisting vets with preparing, printing, and organising documents.

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • Excellent IT skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new practice management systems (PMS), email communication, and document preparation.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills: We need someone who is extremely organised, has strong communication skills over the phone and via email, and happy working on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to help with holiday/sickness cover
  • Strong attention to detail is essential
  • A love for working with animals and their owners, delivering exceptional service.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 21 per week
