Description

We are seeking a friendly and experienced receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a receptionist/client care role is required, ideally in the veterinary medicine field. Previous experience with ezyVet as well as experience with animal restraint/animal care attendant duties are strong assets.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience as a receptionist/client care representative is required.
  • Familiarity with veterinary medicine.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including ezyVet, PetDesk and Outlook.
  • Ideal candidate would also have experience with animal care attendant responsibilities, however this is not required
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer support and interpersonal interactions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Attention to detail for tasks such as documenting conversations with clients and managing records accurately.
  • A positive attitude and professional demeanor are essential for creating a welcoming environment for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients and visitors as they arrive at the office, ensuring a positive first impression. This will include getting patient weights on the scale in the waiting room.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and messages, providing accurate information and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar using ezyVet and PetDesk.
  • Handle patient records and documentation with attention to detail, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with CVO regulations.
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries using ezyVet and Moneris POS.
  • Collaborate with other team members to facilitate efficient patient flow and support overall clinic operations.
