Description

We are a rapidly expanding new clinic seeking a versatile and dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our dynamic team. If you are a multitasker with a passion for healthcare, animals and customer service, this is an exciting opportunity for you. We do have uniforms, Mon - Thursday is all Pewter Grey and Fun Friday’s is any colour of your choice. We are Saturdays and plan some evening in the future so must be flexible for this.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical record systems preferred.
  • Previous vet clinic experience required.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, customer service-oriented attitude

Experience:

  • Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (required
Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist clients, handling inquiries and scheduling appointments.
  • Manage appointment calendar, ensuring coordination with veterinary staff.
  • Input and update patient records in the computer system with confidentiality.
  • Process payments, invoices, and provide estimates for veterinary services.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and veterinary team, relay important information.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies, ensuring a well-equipped reception area.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the reception area and waiting rooms.
  • Provide basic pet care information and distribute educational materials.
  • Follow emergency protocols and direct clients accordingly.
  • Adhere to clinic policies, stay informed about changes in services and policies.
