JOB TITLE: PART-TIME VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly and caring team in Whetstone, North London.
This is a permanent position at our family-run veterinary practice. You will work primarily in the reception area, but the role will also include some animal handling/interaction, along with a range of administrative and communication tasks.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills and the ability to stay organised and multitask in a busy environment. You should be confident using basic computer programs such as Word, Excel, Gmail, and Chrome. A friendly, approachable, and professional manner is essential when interacting with clients. Previous customer service experience is required, although full training for the role will be provided.

• Welcoming and assisting clients in a warm, professional manner
• Managing phone calls, bookings, and enquiries
• Maintaining accurate records and handling payments
• Supporting the clinical team with occasional animal handling
• Performing general administrative duties
