Parker Animal Care is hiring a full-time veterinary receptionist to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Schedule: 7am - 5pm or 8am - 6pm shifts; depending on needs of clinic. Alternating Saturdays required. Clinic is open Monday - Saturday, 8am - 6pm. Key Responsibilities: Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms. Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments. Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups. Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience. Qualifications: Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or medical office assistant is preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor Why Parker Animal Clinic?
