We are a busy veterinary practice, with 3 branches - located in West Bromwich, Merry Hill, & Oldbury.
We are looking to hire 1x part-time receptionist (approximately 20 hours per week), with a view to offering full-time in the future.
You would be required to work between all 3 locations, so a driving license & your own vehicle would be ideal. You must be able to travel to all 3 branches, including on bank holidays and weekends.
A small amount of animal care knowledge & experience would be beneficial, but is not a definite necessity. We are looking for someone with experience dealing with the public (e.g. retail, customer services), who is very confident and has good communication skills, basic maths skills, and money handling experience. This is a client-facing role, and you may be required to handle customer complaints, and a large amount of customer queries. We are very busy practices, & need someone who can manage their time well, work quickly & efficiently, & cope well under pressure. You need to be able to multi-task and work at a very quick pace.
This is a part-time position, but we need people who are able to be flexible, and work weekends, bank holidays, early/late shifts etc. You may be required to work long shifts (e.g. 12 hours), and the shifts can vary anywhere from 7am to 9pm. You will also be required to work a large amount of weekends, and bank holidays, as well as some nights on-call.
The salary is minimum wage.
The role includes the following main duties:- greeting customers, updating customer records, answering a large volume of telephone calls, scanning & attaching documents, managing emails, taking payments, handling customer complaints and queries, and cleaning.
