We are now looking to welcome a skilled and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to our team.
The Role
We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with a strong interest in internal medicine or imaging to join us two days per week. The ideal candidate will already hold, or be working towards, a certificate in one of these areas. You should feel confident working sole charge, managing a varied caseload, and performing a range of routine surgeries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in small animals.
  • Perform routine surgeries such as neuters, lump removals, dentals, and soft tissue abdominal procedures.
  • Carry out diagnostic imaging, including X-rays and ultrasound.
  • Manage internal medicine cases, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate patient care.
  • Communicate clearly with pet owners about diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Work independently when required, making sound clinical decisions.
  • Engage in continuing education and keep up to date with veterinary advancements.

Requirements

  • Interest and ability in internal medicine and/or imaging.
  • Confident in performing routine surgeries.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to high standards of patient care and client service.
