Sandal is growing and expanding- following recent renovations, we have brand new, high-end facilities including kennels/cattery, sterile ops theatre, radiography, ultrasound, dental machine and dental radiography, in-house laboratory, consultation rooms, reception, office and kitchen.
The team are fresh and motivated with a new lead nurse and senior client care administrator in role. They are ready and raring to make this clinic the best it can be!
We are looking for someone with strong leadership qualities to complete our leadership team. You will be a confident general-practitioner with surgical bias required to support and expand the team. You will be motivated by clinical excellence and gold-standard care.
We are looking for a capable surgeon to operate roughly 4 hours a day, followed by 2-4 hours of consulting.
We can build a rota to suit you- a 40 hour week usually fits into 3.5 days at Calder, but there is a lot of flex here and we can accommodate you
This role is a new role- initially likely to be a lot of routine procedures- but scope to grow the surgical service into whatever you like- taking more exciting work as you develop.
Engagement is a priority at Calder- you will have a monthly site meeting with your team, plus check-in meetings with your lead vet every 2 weeks, plus you will receive monthly invites to meetings for all our vets- which means you will always have a voice
