Anticipated Schedule This is a full-time position 4-day work week: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM Compensation Starting at $22–28/hr, commensurate with experience What You’ll Do As a Veterinary Technician Assistant – Cardiology, you will support the cardiology team in delivering efficient, compassionate care through advanced diagnostics, appointments, and follow-up support. In this role, you will: Assist with patient appointments, including obtaining complete medical histories and supporting exams Help with diagnostic procedures such as echocardiograms, ECGs, and thoracic radiographs Restrain and handle canine and feline patients safely and confidently Assist with medication administration, patient monitoring, and outpatient treatments Provide patient care responsibilities including husbandry, laundry, walking dogs, and cleaning kennels Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, including providing patient updates and discharge instructions Maintain cleanliness and organization in exam rooms and shared areas Help stock supplies and assist with department scheduling and patient flow Accurately document care and communication in medical records Requirements Who We’re Looking For Veterinary Assistant experience preferred A fast learner who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Passion for cardiology and a dedication to patient care A positive, team-oriented attitude and desire to learn If you’re ready to take the next step in your veterinary career and be part of a supportive, high-performing Cardiology team, we’d love to hear from you.
