QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in an animal care or veterinary setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately.
• Basic knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
• Proficiency with computer systems and medical recordkeeping.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their wellbeing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in veterinary
  assistance or related fields is a plus.

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and treatment areas.
• Restrain and handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Collect samples for laboratory testing.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
• Perform routine cleaning and sterilization of equipment and instruments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information.
• Educate pet owners on basic care, nutrition, and medical conditions.
• Support the veterinary team in ensuring a clean and organized clinic environment.
