Description

WHO WE ARE:

The Hospital for Veterinary Surgery is a new, purpose-built surgical center opening in late 2025 in the heart of Greenwich’s West End. Spanning 10,000+ square feet and designed from the ground up, we’re bringing cutting-edge surgical and critical care services to a region that has long needed them. This is our second HVS location, and we’re building it with the same focus that made our first a destination for exceptional patient outcomes, supportive and transparent team culture, and forward-thinking medicine.
We’re seeking a skilled, motivated Veterinary Technician to join our founding clinical team. Whether your background is in general practice or you’ve already worked in surgery or critical care, this is a unique opportunity to take your skills to the next level in a state-of-the-art hospital designed for learning, teamwork, and excellence.
In this role, you’ll work as a Veterinary Nurse rotating across a range of support areas. You’ll be trained and supported to grow your technical confidence in a fast-paced, well-resourced specialty environment.
This is a chance to help shape the protocols, culture, and rhythms of a brand-new hospital before we open our doors. You’ll be instrumental in helping us build a team that functions with trust, efficiency, and heart.

CONTINUING EDUCATION:

We’re serious about your growth and development. Veterinary Technicians are eligible to receive unlimited CE reimbursement, including conferences, advanced skills labs, online subscriptions, and even textbooks. You’ll also get 3 fully paid CE days every year to take full advantage of those opportunities without burning your PTO. Want to attend a conference across the country? We’ll help with travel too, covering up to $1,500 annually in related travel expenses. At our hospital, we invest in your future because you’re an essential part of ours.

  • Communicate with clients during check-ins, updates, and discharges
  • Work closely with a collaborative team of doctors, specialists, and fellow nurses
  • Contribute to a supportive, respectful hospital culture built on shared purpose and mutual trust

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE UNIQUE:

This is a launch position as we open our 2nd Hospital for Veterinary Surgery location! You will spend your first few weeks training, building rapport, and establishing a team workflow before opening a brand new facility. This is a once-in-a-career chance to be a key part of a founding team and you’ll gain unique experience both operationally and clinically as we expand our state-of-the-art care in a new state. Our target start date for this role is November 10, 2025.
