Key Responsibilities: - Assist veterinarians with medical examinations, treatments, and procedures during overnight shifts - Monitor hospitalized patients, administer medications, and provide routine nursing care - Collect and process laboratory samples, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret results - Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of patient care - Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and assist with surgical procedures - Educate pet owners about post-treatment care and answer their questions - Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the treatment area and hospital facilities - Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed Skills and Qualifications: - Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), or equivalent credential - Prior experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic preferred - Strong knowledge of veterinary medical practices, diagnostics, and treatments - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours - Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to handle stressful situations with professionalism - Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays We foster a supportive and collaborative work environment that values growth, continuous learning, and the well-being of our team members.
