QUALIFICATIONS
Retail experience.
Knowledge of how to build quality IKEA furniture.
Knowledge of waste management and sustainability principles.
Experience working in a customer and commercial-oriented business.
The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 17.24 USD to 19.83 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
Looking for someone with an understanding of sustainability and the ideas of giving products second chances at life through as-is repacking, merchandising, and selling.
They’ll have to work closely with all functions within the unit helping to enforce common working routines, product quality, and safety awareness.
The ideal candidate would be business-minded and result-driven with a customer focus and have experience working in a customer- and commercial-oriented business.
Open to change and a high level of flexibility with a high ambition to work in a team environment.
All while also being able to prioritize daily tasks based on need and volume and work under pressure.
Able to use power tools and craftmanship in product assembly. Must have good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Knowledge of using IT systems and other tools in daily work duties. We also want to stress the physical ability to lift and move product around the as-is showroom floor as a much-needed requirement.

As a Product Recovery Associate, contributing to the recovery and sustainability work in the store, you will:
Contribution in minimizing all internal damages or other costs related to IKEA products.
Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging and assembly.
Present IKEA products in As-Is using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store.
Support the quality work in the store in order to constantly improve customers’ quality perception of IKEA products.
Always consider the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products.
Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.
