About Us ICAN Film Inc. / Lucy TV is a Calgary-based media and film company producing original content for streaming and theatrical release. Our latest short film project, The Last Delivery, is in development, and we are seeking skilled VFX talent to bring the story to life.
The Role We are looking for a VFX Artist / Compositor to join our team for The Last Delivery. The role involves creating seamless and cinematic visual effects that elevate the storytelling.
Responsibilities Perform compositing, cleanup, and integration of VFX shots. Work with tracking, matte painting, and set extensions as needed. Collaborate with the director and editor to achieve a cinematic look. Ensure shots match creative vision and technical standards.
Qualifications Proficiency with industry tools such as Nuke, After Effects, Mocha, or Silhouette. Strong compositing and roto/paint skills. Understanding of tracking, color matching, and scene integration. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Previous film or project-based VFX experience preferred.
Compensation & Details Type: Temporary / Contract role with the potential to grow into a full-time position. Location: Calgary preferred, remote considered. Compensation: Based on experience (to be discussed). Start Date: Immediate / Negotiable.

Contract length: 2 months
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
